Teachers are loyal and dedicated to their work, their passion for teaching and transmitting knowledge is reflected in their classes. EIM is a school where everyone: teachers, directors, educators and pupils work together towards success.

It has helped me to learn how to plan ahead, communicate effectively, write structured essays, accept contradictions and be more diversified in my opinions.

One major strength which I found at EIM is the relationship between student and teacher. A student can talk freely about anything with the teacher and the teacher would listen openly and try to help the student. Furthermore, I found it amazing the engagement of the school and its students in school activities. It makes the students and the teachers feel like a family.

They gave me a new perspective on school, by making me dislike it less.

Every class has its own, very familiar atmosphere with inside jokes and individual teacher-student relationships which would be hard to find elsewhere. This is due to the size of the classes which brings people within them closer.

The heavy workload in DP2 and the excellent physics programme were both essential for the engineering studies.

Most of all the possibility to learn English and a good level of sciences (Physics and Chemistry).

What helped me the most was getting used to work with deadlines and planning.

EIM is a close knit community with relatively small classes, emphasizing communication between teachers and students. This allows students to learn in a more pleasant and interactive environment, and gives them more opportunities to ask questions and clear any doubts. Moreover, the expertise of teachers in their respective fields is very valuable and clearly helps students better grasp new concepts. The school also has new facilities, which makes the whole experience of learning at EIM more enjoyable.

EIM clearly helped me better manage my time and plan everything ahead, skills that are essential during university studies where the workload is inevitably heavier. With the various Internal Assessments and essays in the IB diploma program, I started university well prepared for the various group projects and written works I had to do. At EIM I got the chance to develop my research and critical thinking skills, which are much needed in today’s world and that I am sure will come in handy during my studies and later in life.

I am in Milan, Italy, current attending a BSc in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University.

I would like to thank all the teachers for the past two years I spent at EIM, which I enjoyed a lot. I have not only learnt a lot from each of you, but also got to participate in various discussions, experiments and projects that made the whole learning experience much more interesting. I keep warm memories from EIM and will certainly not forget my friends, teachers and the time I spent there.

I miss the teachers and the openness, The ambiance between the students, the math lessons and how advanced some lessons were.

It helped me to structure my thoughts and to develop my English Level. The Theater courses and the specific vocabulary used in it and used by the teacher helped me.

La communication et la disponibilité constante et précieuse non seulement avec les professeurs mais aussi avec la Direction. Le corps enseignant encourage les élèves à se dépasser et à surmonter les difficultés éventuelles rencontrées durant leur parcours scolaire. L’atmosphère positive de l’école qui donne aux élèves l’envie de développer leur capacité d’apprendre en harmonie ainsi que la motivation et coopération entre les élèves pour faire face aux défis proposés.

L’EIM m'a bien préparé pour l’université car j’ai fait beaucoup de projets seul et en groupe. On nous incitait à participer et à créer des activités que ce soit à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur de l’école, et donc à devenir plus entreprenant et responsable. Les professeurs nous donnaient des tâches qui nous préparaient à affronter le monde universitaire, tant pour les dissertations, la manière de s’exprimer ou de penser.
